Liftshift is the psychedelic trance project of Dutch producer, DJ and mix engineer Eric Bijl. Shaped by Amsterdam's psychedelic culture, he began producing trance in the early 2000s and has released as Liftshift since 2005. His sound is deep, crisp, colourful and built for the dancefloor. Over an international career spanning more than two decades, Liftshift has performed across 32 countries and four continents, including major festivals such as Boom, Ozora, Universo Paralello and Rainbow Serpent, while building a catalogue of more than 100 released tracks across his projects.

LONG BIO
Liftshift is the psychedelic trance project of Eric Bijl, a Dutch producer, DJ and mix engineer whose roots reach back to Amsterdam's formative psychedelic scene of the 1990s. After years of playing and composing rock music, Eric moved deeper into electronic production in the early 2000s and released his first music as Liftshift in 2005.

His approach developed into a distinctive blend of progressive drive and psychedelic detail: deep low-end, crisp production, colourful sound design and an unmistakable focus on the dancefloor. Releases have appeared across established psychedelic labels, while his studio work and collaborations connect him with artists including Ajja, Zen Mechanics, Sonic Species and E-Clip.

Liftshift's music has travelled far beyond the studio. Eric has toured extensively, performing original productions across 32 countries and four continents and appearing at major gatherings including Boom Festival, Ozora, Universo Paralello and Rainbow Serpent. Alongside the artist project, he runs LiftShift Studio, bringing more than two decades of production and mixing experience to other artists and bands.
